Digital School of Distinction Award

Digital School of Distinction Award

Our school received the 'Digital Schools of Distinction' Award 2015

The Digital Schools of Distinction Award is a flagship programme to promote and acknowledge best practice use of ICT to deliver the best educational experience for pupils at primary level.

St. Cronan's e-Learning Vision Statement:

"At St. Cronan's, everyone gets opportunities to succeed in a creative and safe digital environment."

In Ireland, use of ICT by teachers is already at a higher grade than the EU average according the EU Commission’s Survey of Schools: ICT in Education. The award aims to build on the progress already made by primary schools in ICT integration and to encourage them to strive for further progression and improvement.

Well done to Mr Karl Ó Broin for all of the work he has done in the area of IT in our school.
