Back (belatedly !) after the Christmas Holidays,
and right back to work ...
Snow !!
Due to severely adverse weather conditions, St. Cronan's along with many other schools around the country were forced to delay re-opening after Christmas.
The health and safety of the pupils was paramount in this decision, as the school grounds and local environs were extremely slippy.
Intercultural Evening of Food and Fun
On Wednesday 10th February, St. Cronan's hosted an "Intercultural Evening of Food and Fun". Approximately 90 people from 15 different countries participated with representation from India, Romania, Poland, Pakistan, Morocco, Belgium, New Zealand, China, Andorra, England, Italy, Scotland, Philippines, the United States of America, and of course, Ireland !
Visit from the Ambassador of the Philippines
On Friday 12th February 2010, St. Cronan's welcomed the Filipino Ambassador to Ireland, His Excellency, Mr Ariel Abadilla. His visit was as a result of Bray Lions Club's "Window's on the World" event. We were one of thirteen schools across the Bray area to welcome an Ambassadorial visitor.
